I’m always collecting little things that spark an idea — a colour combination, an old illustration, an interesting shape or something I’ve noticed in nature. I never really know where an idea will lead until I start playing with it.
I enjoy the part where the initial idea slowly becomes a pattern. I sketch, draw, experiment with colour and move motifs around until everything starts to work together. Sometimes one idea is all it takes to set off a whole new collection.
Licensing: Artwork with Character
I create original patterns and illustrations for brands looking for something with a little more personality. My work is often inspired by nature, vintage details, old illustrations and the things I find interesting along the way, with plenty of colour, detail and a sense of character.
My portfolio includes artwork ranging from botanical and floral patterns to whimsical illustrations, geometric prints and seasonal collections. Designs are available for licensing, and I also work with brands on custom artwork created specifically for their needs.
